For the second year in a row, we had the absolute pleasure of joining the Cupid Crew with Wish of a Lifetime, and it was an experience we’ll never forget! Darron and I had a blast passing out over 100 roses last Thursday to the wonderful residents of New Summit Thrive of Lake County and to all the wonderful people who came out to celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Libertyville Civic Center. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces as they received roses made every moment truly special.
Being part of something so much bigger than ourselves was incredibly humbling and exciting. This year’s effort brought together over 25,000 volunteers across the country who collectively delivered more than 1 million cards and roses to seniors and their caregivers—all to remind them how valued and loved they truly are. It’s a beautiful reminder that small gestures can make a tremendous difference in someone’s day, and we’re so grateful to be part of a community that shows up for its seniors in such a meaningful way.
